Our New Project “Critical Health Literacy” Erasmus+ Project in Klagenfurt

FI Gesundheits- und Sportverein will implement the Erasmus+ KA153 Youth Workers Mobility project titled “Critical Health Literacy” between 17–24 March 2026 in Klagenfurt, Austria. The project aims to strengthen youth workers’ competencies in understanding, analysing, and promoting critical health literacy within their communities.

The project will bring together 48 participants from Austria, Hungary, Türkiye, Romania, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, creating a multicultural learning environment focused on improving knowledge, skills, and cooperation in the field of health education and youth work.

Throughout the mobility, participants will engage in interactive workshops, non-formal education activities, group discussions, and collaborative exercises designed to enhance awareness about reliable health information, media literacy, and responsible decision-making. The programme also seeks to encourage international cooperation, intercultural dialogue, and the exchange of good practices among youth organisations.

By fostering critical thinking and strengthening the role of youth workers in promoting healthy lifestyles, the project contributes to the broader objectives of the Erasmus+ Programme in supporting quality youth work and empowering communities across Europe and neighbouring regions.
