Energize Your Body, Optimize Your Life" Project to Promote Healthy Living Among Youth Workers

Coordinated by FI Gesundheits- und Sportverein, the Erasmus+ Mobility of Youth Workers project "Energize Your Body, Optimize Your Life" (Project No: 2025-1-AT01-KA153-YOU-000299912) will take place in Klagenfurt, Austria, from 7 to 14 September 2025. Bringing together youth workers from Austria, Türkiye, Poland, Portugal, Bulgaria, and Romania, the project aims to strengthen the integration of healthy lifestyle practices into youth work.

The main objective of the project is to enhance youth workers' knowledge and awareness of the relationship between healthy nutrition, regular physical activity, and overall well-being, while equipping them with innovative methods to transfer this knowledge to young people. The project also seeks to foster international cooperation by encouraging the exchange of experiences and good practices among participants from different countries. By the end of the mobility, participants are expected to become role models who actively promote healthy lifestyles both in their personal lives and in their professional youth work.

Throughout the programme, participants will engage in practical workshops and non-formal learning activities covering topics such as balanced nutrition, exercise planning, sports psychology, responsible use of nutritional supplements, combating misinformation related to health and fitness, and sustainable living. These activities will enable youth workers to develop innovative educational tools and methods that they can apply in workshops and youth activities within their local communities.

By the end of the project, the knowledge, skills, and best practices gained will be disseminated to a wider audience, contributing to the promotion of healthy lifestyles among young people. Furthermore, the project is expected to establish sustainable international partnerships, strengthen the quality of youth work, and support the development of future initiatives focused on health, well-being, and active participation.
