The "Energize Your Body, Optimize Your Life" Erasmus+ Mobility of Youth Workers project took place in Klagenfurt, Austria, from 7 to 14 September 2025, hosted by FI Gesundheits- und Sportverein. Bringing together youth workers from Türkiye, Poland, Portugal, Bulgaria, Romania, and Austria, the project aimed to promote healthy lifestyles, strengthen the role of sport in youth work, share non-formal learning practices, and enhance international cooperation. Through practical workshops, creative activities, and reflective learning experiences, participants developed valuable professional competences while gaining meaningful personal and intercultural experiences.
A key part of the project focused on the Youthpass evaluation process, enabling participants to identify and document the knowledge, skills, and competences they had acquired throughout the mobility. By reflecting on the eight key competences of the Youthpass framework, participants assessed their individual learning journeys and connected project activities with their personal and professional development. This structured self-assessment not only increased self-awareness but also transformed non-formal learning achievements into recognised outcomes that can support future career opportunities.
The project also encouraged creativity and teamwork through a collaborative art workshop, where participants worked together to produce a large collective artwork representing their shared experiences. Using colours, symbols, and visual elements inspired by the project, each participant contributed a personal reflection that became part of a common artistic creation. The activity promoted creative thinking, cooperation, and reflective learning while demonstrating how individual perspectives can come together to create a meaningful collective memory. The completed artwork became a lasting symbol of the project's achievements and the international friendships established throughout the mobility.
Comprehensive evaluation activities allowed participants to review the entire learning process and provide constructive feedback using digital tools. Interactive discussions and online evaluation methods helped identify the project's strengths, learning outcomes, and areas for future improvement, contributing to the continuous development of high-quality Erasmus+ projects. Meetings with project stakeholders further strengthened opportunities for future cooperation by presenting the project's results and discussing new partnership possibilities. In addition, a cultural visit around Klagenfurt introduced participants to the city's historical landmarks and natural attractions, enriching the mobility with valuable intercultural learning experiences.
The project concluded with the Youthpass certificate ceremony, recognising the active participation, commitment, and achievements of every youth worker involved. Receiving the Youthpass certificates formally acknowledged the competences developed throughout the project while providing participants with a valuable document to support their professional development. Overall, "Energize Your Body, Optimize Your Life" successfully combined healthy living, non-formal education, intercultural learning, and international cooperation, leaving participants with sustainable knowledge, practical skills, and strong international partnerships that will continue to benefit their future work with young people.
