"Skills for the future - Strengthening skills for the future with guidance" was the theme of this year's Euroguidance conference.
Jos Akkermans, Associate Professor at the Department of Management and Organization at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, introduced the topic with his keynote speech "Sustainable careers and career shocks". The keynote speech was followed by an interactive discussion on the topic of "Forms of work in the future".
In the afternoon, participants had the opportunity to take part in one of five parallel workshops. These interactive sessions dealt with best practice examples and methods for working in educational and career guidance. An Erasmus+ Corner and a methods market offered the opportunity to get to know Erasmus+ projects and develop project ideas.
The event took place as part of the "European Year of Skills", which aims to give new impetus to lifelong learning, support innovation and competitiveness and value all skills and knowledge.
